Purpose
This notice is issued to clarify the proper representation, lineage authority, and preservation standards of the systems associated with  Pentjak Silat USA (PSUSA) & Pentjak Silat Ratu Adil.
Lineage Authority
Pentjak Silat USA recognizes only authorized instructors and representatives within their established lineage structure.
No individual or organization outside of this structure is recognized as:

• A lineage holder

• An official representative

• A spokesperson for these systems

The use of historical names does not constitute lineage authority, endorsement, or organizational affiliation.
Adat and Hormat
The preservation of these systems is governed by Adat (traditional law) and Hormat (respect).
Under these principles, as established by the Gurus:

• The djurus are not to be publicly displayed or taught outside proper authorization

• Limited demonstration of Djuru 1 and 2 was permitted only under direct authority for instructional or seminar purposes

• This permission is not transferable

The public dissemination, teaching, or structuring of djuru material outside of these conditions is a violation of Adat and Hormat.
Clarification on Public Content
Any individuals, organizations, or platforms that:

• Publicly demonstrate djurus beyond authorized levels

• Present structured curriculum derived from these systems

• Use the names of Dr. Andre KnustGraichen, Rudy TerLinden, or Maurice de Thouars in a manner implying authority

are doing so without recognition or authorization from this organization.
Preservation of the Art
The systems associated with these lineages are actively preserved through recognized lineage holders and authorized instructors.
Claims that public dissemination outside of this structure is necessary to “preserve the art” are not supported and do not align with the principles established by the original teachers.
Final Statement
Pentjak Silat Ratu Adil USA and Pentjak Silat USA remain committed to:

• Preserving the integrity of the system

• Upholding Adat and Hormat

• Protecting the legacy of the teachers who entrusted this responsibility
